Is everyone doing alright? I just figured I would check in to see what everyone was up to. I am working on building my own case for a 5740 motherboard with 4 slots for full sized hard drives and making my own NAS using freenas software.

Have you tried putting the drive in another pc as a slave and then formatting it there and seeing what happens? I had the same thing happen to me the other day and after I did that windows install would see it.

I researched this and I don't think HP ever offered it but do you guys think their may be a regular PCI riser card out there for a GT7720? I would like to be able to run a dvb-s2 PCI card in order to get free satellite television in one but I can't do it with the PCI-E riser card I have now.

I messed around with my GT7720 last night and I do think it is using both full cores after looking at a few different hardware monitors. I wonder if the different rating is because the Turion is supposed to be a much better on power mobile processor instead of the Athlon X2?

Yea I am using the factory PSU on it. It is a huge brick compared to the one that comes with the T5730. I am also using the on board graphics with the latest legacy ati catalyst drivers.

I never really though about it but I just went and looked and my CPU is only at 3.1 as well. When I use my monitoring programs though it shows both CPU's as being used but the 1st one gets hit a whole lot harder than the second one.
