i changed my MJ # about 60 days ago, and it said that it would only forward calls made to my old # for 30 days. the reason why i changed it was due to menacing calls, so this "feature" is really annoying me. just wondering how long it really takes for the calls to stop being forwarded, or if there ...

ok got it working. i went to:

"C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\mjusbsp\magicJackLoader.exe"

as HolmanGT recomended, but i deleted the entire mjusbsp folder, unplugged MJ for 30 seconds, and added my usb extension, and plugged into a different usb port, and there it was!

i had to restore the computer because some of my programs were freezing up. one of my roommates downloaded myspace IM and i was having all sorts of problems after that, and decided to restore, and i restored to a date before i had the MJ installed, therefore "undoing" my installation.

mcaffee security, windows firewall, avg anti-spyware. i installed magic jack once and ran it for a week with no problems so i don't think it's being blocked by any of these, but there is no icon to open the program after it is supposedly "successfully installed" so i can't even try to open MJ ...

i am running xp with SP2.
