no it doesn't work fine on my mac...im running os X 10.4.11 on an intel mac and it says that device isn't recognized when plugged directly into my mac...i dont know ...

Can you explain what virtualbox is and how do you use it on a mac? Will this make the magicjack work on my mac? Please let me know! thanks

yes I did. That user had the update file to download. For some reason MJ doesn't have it available on their site if you click all the way through the links.

Hi Dan. Thanks for the input. I was able to install it on a pc, but not on my mac. The autorun file is on there, but the problem is that .exe files only work on pc's and .dmg work on macs to install things. I can't find the .dmg file anywhere-not even MJ's servers. I've used both USB ports on my mac ...

thanks everyone...yeah, i plan on using my MJ more like a calling card and not a phone line where i want to receive incoming calls...thanks everyone

I heard somewhere that you have to keep your computer on 24/7 w/MJ. Is that really necessary or is that only if you want to be able to receive calls too? I like to let my computer sleep a lot.
