Re: DD-WRT - fixing my VOIP and WiFi problems

[I am not sure about simply selecting "sip" from the list of services and choosing Premium for it really does anything good. If you edit the drop down "sip" and look at it's settings it shows the ports as being 0 to 0 and protocol L7 which is exactly the same as all the other ones in the drop down ...

Wow, I'm surprised that using the corded phone made so much difference. I'm guessing that there was interference between the EVDO modem and the Panasonic phone, even though the frequencies are very different. Try a test with a long cord from Panasonic base to MJ, so you can put the base ten feet ...

Coincidently, I'm typing my response from a Dell E510. I don't have an aircard though. I'd also try a different phone, I happen to also have a Panasonic 2.4 Ghz cordless I can't use it at all with my MJ. Other phones work fine.

Grab another phone and try it. I know your other IP option works fine ...

HolmanGT, I wish I could actually help everyone out, but you see I'm no longer an active IT person, I'm a stinking manager (completely administrative for about 6 years). I brought thin clients in my workplace while was I was still hands on and have tried quite a few of them. All of them have been ...

I'm pretty excited! I was able to purchase a Wyse XP Embedded thin client at a good price! I run an IT department and we have 250 plus thin clients, but only one is the XP embedded model. It's in storage right now and we own the imaging solutions sold by Wyse. I'll be able to save the image from the ...

I set this up tonight on my 5 day-old MJ. It worked right away, the instructions were a snap. If I do want to see the pop-up window with the phonepad, how can I get it back? I had to max the volume up in the pop-up each time I started the app prior to making it a service. I now can't get to the ...

I received my MJ just this week and wanted to have all of my phones and fax working. I have a newer Canon fax, I had to set the baud rate down to 9600 baud and also TURN OFF error correction. I did a number of tests and as soon as I bumped the baud rate to 14400 I had problems. It seems to work very ...

I know what you mean about Wisconsin, it pisses me off too. I guess they just don't like us poor folk that live "Behind the Cheddar Curtain".

This makes 3 of us not happy :( . Since Grandcentral isn't giving out new numbers, it's really a problem. Us cheddar heads may need to unite and go down ...

I'm a new MJ user and registered on this forum today! What a great thread!!! My MJ arrived just two days ago, so I'm guessing I have a new model. I used the version 1.1 spoofer and updated my hosts file with large list posted on page 19 of this thread by snafu2.

It worked WONDERFULLY, as far as ...
