MJ Power Supply Specs
What are the output voltage and amperage specs for the small MJ+ power supply? I have others that are for connecting to USB and thought I might try them to see if my power supply was the problem that I mention in my very recent post about losing my internet connection at the power supply. One that I ...

MJ+ breaks internet connection at power connection
For a few months now my MJ disconnects from the internet at its power source, which is plugged into a surge protector. It was occasional but has gotten worse and does it several times a day. The cure is to unplug both its power supply and the MJ and plug them back in and it usually works then ...

Won't change from 'headset' to 'telephone'
Sudden change. I have used my telephone with MJ for years. A call today on the phone went OK as it had the dial tone. The instant it started ringing it went to my speakers and left my phone. I checked and "headset/other" is checked and nothing happens when I click 'telephone'. Suggestions, please.

Thanks fior the info. Last week MJ would install on the TC and function except for the sound, which only came from the speakers and not the phone. I just moved my MJ from computer to Thin Client T5710. It installed OK, and functions, BUT when I make a call the answering voice comes in on the speaker in the TC and not the phone. The answering person can't hear me when I speak into the phone. The phone does produce a dial tone and I can dial ...

Contacts lost - and Vista 'sleep' problem
I use 'sleep' mode for my Vista computer. I lose my magicjack connection when this occurs, so when I 'wake it up' each morning MJ reboots, however I get no dial tone on my phone until I unplug and 'replug' MJ's USB connection. This morn, following this usual routine I was presented with a log-in ...

T5710 sound comes from speaker and not phone
All was working well, but last calls I have tried end up using the T5710's built-in speaker and not my phone. The 5710 is not now connected to my monitor. I had to re-boot the MJ earlier today. Can you give me a clue for what to check for when I re-connect it to my monitor? Thanks.

I opened the box containing my recently ordered TC 5710 about 1 pm today. By 3 o'clock it was up and operating, as I was delayed with a router problem, which I cured. T5710 thin client and wireless router question
I just received and hooked up a T5710 thin client and MJ. It works fine connected to the ethernet cable direct from my cable modem. It doesn't get the internet when I connect it direct to one of my router ethernet ports. That works fine with my laptop, so why not with the thin client? What am I ...

I am trying to get my MJ to make local calls here in Mexico. No success so far, trying both land line and cell phone numbers. Hi Tony, You have it correct. I call from here (Mexico)with no problems at all. The number that people in the US are calling is the number MJ assigned to me and that I pass on to them to try. I have a friend in Nevada that has tried off and on to call me, the latest being last Sunday, with no ...

Thanks again, Joe. Obviously I sure don't know the answer. I would have to assume that it being an international call would have some effect. Why the 'disconnected' message, I just don't know. Maybe someone else can help here.

Mexico question
Thanks for your reply, Joe.
I have had friends place a call to my MJ US nuimber. One was in the states and one was using their Vonage phone from here in Mexico.
Both got the message "disconnected or no longer in service". Do I need to work on a setting or something to cure this problem?

I live in Mexico for 6 months each year and I use MagicJack to make my US calls. Is there a way for people to call my MJ number in the US and have that call reach me through my MJ here in Mexico? I am having 'delays' when talking and receiving. This causes me to talk over a reply, and is much like the satellite delays we hear on TV. It is disconcerting and creates problems when having a conversation. Can this be overcome or minimized? How? Thanks.

Just got it up and operating and during setup I see that Call Forwarding is enabled, however clicking the small box where it indicates that I can enter a number to forward calls to doesn't work. It doesn't open and provide a space to enter the number. What am I missing or doing wrong? Thnx
