I'm running XP Media Center Edition and no matter which method I use posted on this forum, I always get the "1053" error.

I know one thing that would be nice to add, a user selectable sound for when a call is incoming. Personally I have spent to much money on phones that WILL NOT ring on any incoming calls so why not just let the computer be audible?

If you do not use the MJ softphone to place/receive calls, you could install MJ as a service. Check the "magicJack Tips, Tricks, and Hacks" forum for tips on how to install MJ as a service. No more MJ icon on desktop, no more MJ flash startup screen.

Kind of pisses me off that I bought the MJ about 3 weeks ago with this problem still existing!
Not to mention the phone no longer even rings on incoming calls.
