Ummm

I think I'll wait for the TK 7000 . Perhaps it will be in a gold chassis (vs. that of the chrome TK6000) and include an LED light kit for youths with clear case gamer PC's?!?! I will say number portability is a plus. The user guide also says to punch holes for "xxxx, yyyy, and zzzz" in my firewall ...

Cheesy workaround - okay not really...

Until someone more skilled than I finds a way to best mJ's new firmware auth-procedure with Fring if you're not willing to wait for your Google Voice invitation why not sign up for a Skype account. They let you make free outbound calls I think the receiving caller will see "unknown caller" until you ...

Same prob here

I've got the same problem. Had Fring working on a Windows Mobile phone and on an iPOD Touch 2G. Currently, Fring 3.34.17.216 and mJ upgrade was 1.80.4841.3386. Now my SIP credentials won't register. Tried DNS and IP for the proxy with and without the port specified - no dice.

I mean the mJ allows us to key in a 10digit number from our phone and it automatically transmits this but not what you key in after the call starts. You need to send it manually from the GUI and if I was using a cordless phone that would mean I'd have to be near my PC to send the passcode via the ...

Conference bridge passcodes don't work via phone key in

I'm using the mJ to dial into conference bridges. Typically these bridge services start off w/a recording asking you for your conference code (aka passcode) and when I key in the passcode via my phone I hear the audible tones play, mJ also prints them to the GUI, but the conference service does not ...

For what it's worth their reseller application advertises free follow me to send incoming calls to up to 3 numbers. Has anyone tried setting up call forwarding to multiple numbers? ...I have no idea if using a comma or other delimeter will do the job.

I'd also login to your account settings and setup call forwarding so the device is pretty much useless for any of their accomplices making incoming calls to your MJ.

If you're into headset mode on the PC wouldn't using something simple like MP3myMP3 also work by recording the stereo mixer?

Can tinker MJ now since upg to XP SP2

I promised I'd post the results of my upgrade to XP Pro SP2 after having BSOD/reboots on XP Pro SP1 near the end of the MJ GUI load process. After upgrading to XP Pro SP2 I was finally able to stop the BSOD but MJ didn't work at first; I got a Windows encountered an error in softphone error. The ...

skeptical on crash fix

You're right gnimsh I should try SP2 (or SP3) but I was skeptical because my laptops are using SP1 too and they work just fine. I guess I have nothing to lose since my desktops just reboot and BSOD when MJ is connected. I'll try an update to XP Pro and post results later.

BSOD after app loads in XP SP1

MJ works great on a few laptops I have access to but my desktop PC's just reboot with the BSOD after the app is finished loading. At first I thought it was a low voltage condition on my motherboard (Gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939 w/an AMD X2 64 CPU) since I have too many USB devices and the app never had a ...
