I just received the MagicJack and the setup allows you to immediately choose to transfer your existing number.

My question, if I choose to transfer my number immediately, will MagicJack issue a temp number to use in the meantime or will I have to wait for the transfer to occur before I can start ...

We had AT&T Uverse voice.

I received my MagicJack Plus on 12/31/2011
I submitted the port request (to move my ATT home phone # to my new MJP) on the same day. 12/31/2011

The port was completed on 1/4/2012!!!!!! LESS THAN 4 DAYS!!!!!!!

OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!

On both my Uniden phones, the voice message light is blinking, but I have no messages. Anyone know how to stop it?

Same here (area code 512). Mine has been dead for over 12 hours. Has anyone got through to tech chat yet? I tried last night and no one was there. Not sure what the tech chat hours are.
