On the router, you can try setting Security->Firewall Protection to Disable, or try the slightly newer 1.01.22 firmware. If no luck, do a test with your laptop connected directly to the cable modem. I suppose you'll have to do this after hours or on a weekend. Verify that your Internet access works ...

Router make and model? Hardware and firmware version? Log into it and check the WAN IP address. If the router gets an address from the cable modem that begins with 10, 192.168, or 172.[16-31], then there is a NAT at the ISP that could be causing trouble. Can you test to Boston at http://www ...
