Is the OGM showing the script the default OGM? Only the default plays what is typed in the box because it is tied to a recorded file. It is not text to speech.

There is not a way to dial a number only pre-programmed number as far as I am aware.

Cost of IVM

For those who do not want to handle the cost of IVM they can search through crackspider.us to find a "solution" to the cost. That is what has made the IVM route popular amongst other forums.

Free Cell Phone Minutes?!?!?

Yes, there is a way to exploit your cell phone carrier with MJ service. Of course this assumes your carrier offers you 1 or more out of network numbers as free numbers.

First, you will need your sip credentials... This is easier than it will look.

Alltel HTC PPC6800 Problems

Okay, I have followed the instructions. I have the four files as listed on the XDA website. My VoipProv0 is actually VoipProv1 and I am not sure this is a problem. What is a problem is that I can see internet calling on the today item list but it does not show on my today screen. When I go to phone ...

House Wiring (New Issue)

I am fairly tech savy, but this one is throwing me. I have disconnected the main line. I plugged the MJ into the closest wall jack. Only one jack in the house has a dial tone?? I checked to see if there was a possible second line that had been bridged but there is only one hard line and then the ...

Remember, no matter how good the encryption is for the transmission over the internet, if
you use a cordless phone anyone with a scanner that scanss 5.8 ghz and down will be able
to hear you. I suggest only landlines for speaking sensitive information!!! :D

I can tell you that you are going about getting the info the wrong way. There is an antiquated but
easy way that was posted between September and December 2007. You will find that no one will
outright tell you for fear of MagicJack taking away the ability of using your own devices. However
if you ...

No need to fret! The CC Terminal sends encrypted data the same either over a standard
landline or the VoIp connection. The transmission of data can be intercepted either way
but all terminals encrypt the data before transmission.

MagicJack and a Credit Card Terminal (cc machine)

I LOVE MY MAGIC JACK!!! IT works great. I am a small, small, small business and the price
was absolutely right! I use IVM Answering Attendant Software that gives a nice phone tree
and I can even use my Credit Card Terminal.

I have had some issues where the CC Terminal returns a protocol error. All ...

petty complaints annoy me

I agree, there is no need to complain about dialing an extra 3 numbers when
I save about $460 a year on my phone service. I also agree that most places
are moving to a 10 digit dialing system as is my area is also about 2 months
from implementing a 10 digit dialing system.

If it is really that ...

IVM Answering Attendant (3rd Party Software)

Does MagicJack not allow software applications like this to access
the MJ servers to accept phone calls directly and avoid modem
calls? I have the proxy and domain (proxy1.Tampa.talk4free.com:5070)
but whenever the IVM tries to connect it comes back bit a 400 bad
request error. I don't know if there ...
