Ordered 2 of the new devices last night off the add on the soft phone screen. I never got an email, the add states it's a 48 hour promo and only 300,000 will be sold to current subscribers for the 29.95 deal.

They must be busy because as of 1 pm their time, it hasn't moved yet from their building.

I call it that because we don't know the name of it yet. Anyway, where is it ? Only been waiten bout a year now. I had to renew last month for a year but spoke to to the chat help yesterday and they assured me that I will be able to transfer the remaining months onto the new device.

Just switched computers. I was using my Magicjack on a XP system but was using Chrome. Now using Vista, but still Chrome. When I plug in the Magicjack I always get the red error message that I need to plug the magicjack into a usb. What's up with that ?

Has anyone tried the Android phone app on a Samsung Exhibit II 4G through t-mobil and walmart ? Their $30/month plan with a 100 talk minuetes would be a perfect match if it works.

Also wondering if the Android App works for 3G Phones as well as the 4G ?

Any chances Magicjack comes out with a Java App ? They now have an Apple and Android App, is Java next ? Hate to buy an Android phone if i don't have too.

Any idea if the smartphone app will be available to other phones besides the iphone and other sites to download it other than itunes. I use an LG900 through Net 10 that is only compatiable to Java Apps. Is there any downloads coming up for these ?

Sometimes when I make a call, I get a recording that says, This YMAX Test Call was successful. Then the call doesn't go through. I wasn't making a test call. Now I've tried it 3 times and the same recording. What's up with this Test Call being successful stuff.

Anyone know if the 5 yr. subscribers will be able to upgrade at a discount ? If we have to buy a new Plus, will we keep our existing phone # ?.

Has anyone tried the new Beta and experienced any problems with their Magicjack ? I haven't tried it yet, waiting for any feedback.

So far so good, just got my phone book set up and spent about 2 hours talking with my brother.

Anyone know if this phone works OK with the Magicjack ? I just got it but I'm letting it charge for a day before I try it. I had been using a Vtech 2.4 ghz which worked fine.

Update Recieved my new mj Tues. Talked to tech chat, got my same phone number, it hasn't gone off yet. Returned my old mj Tues. also. They had already removed my pending charge of 39.95 on Wed. even though they hadn't recieved my old one yet. Cudos to mj and the tech chat. I'm happy again and brag ...

Talked with Tech Chat, gave them control of my computer. They couldn't get it to work either. They are sending me a new one but guess what ? now it is working, well for 10 min. anyway. At least it loaded and stayed on beyond a few seconds.

My mj has been rebooting con stantly now for a few days. I got an error message that an upgrade setup failed so click try again. It is on now but keeps rebboting and tells me there is no disk in drive F for autorun.exe

I'll try that but I thought an ac powered hub saved resources on the computer. I'll have to use the extension chord as the mj takes up too much space and blocks my other usb port. When I first got the mj, I had this same problem plugging it in directly, it always rebooted itself.

mj reboots iiself constantly, used to just happen on weekends, now during the week. Using xp, sp3, ac powered hub with only the mj plugged into it. My splash screen just disappeared and no magicjack icon in the table tray. MJ usb hub light still on, mj light in the hub still on but no mj. Do they have a server down or an upgrade going on ? Windows XP, sp3, mj drive D with no free space, mj drive f with no free space but it is a CGFS file system ...

The mj doesn't load, unrecognized usb device, plug mj into a usb, the upgrade doesn't work. In the last few weeks it always started on the weekends, that it would reboot itself every few min. all day. If I rebooted the computer, I lost the mj, eventually having to reformat, now it just doesn't load ...

Have had mine for 1.5/ 24/7 but now lately, it has been becoming undetectable on the weekends.

I lost my contact list when I rebooted my computer. I also have callers put on hold and hearing music. I never put them on hold, then after about 15 seconds of music, the line disconnects. Any way of retrieving our contact list.

Im currently using IE 8, Beta 2. Magicjack has been working for the most part but I haven't been able to get the upgrade that came out like Dec. 19th I think. Also I have been limited to 30 min. calls, then 60, now 30 again. Has anyone else tried the new IE 8, canidate 1 for XP ?

I too have just experienced 30 min. dropped calls, 4 this evening. However, I seem to get dropped often by Charter, whether I'm on the phone or not. Anyone else have trouble with Charter, whether on the magicjack or just surfing ?

I have had my magicjack since May and I use it as my primary phone. I had the problems of it always rebooting itself and loosing connections until I followed someone's advice on here to plug the magicjack into an ac powered hub and only have the magicjack in that hub.
