Anyone have similar problem or know of a solution, for some reason people will periodically hear a tone like someone is pushing a key button. I don't hear anything and wondering if it has to do with registration or some other ATA setting i have misconfigured.

lonestarmagic I agree with you. I notice a distorted level of audio inbound while at the other end of the PSTN
they complain they can't hear me.

Thank you for the input. So, let me get this straight; your cell phone displays the phone number of the caller to your land line, not the number of your land line which is doing the forwarding?

Yes the caller number (to my land line, not my own) comes through and displays correctly.

Short answer Is yes.
I have Call Frwrd-Bsy Line/Don't Answer (CFBLNA) on a super basic metered line with ATT/SBC and I call foward to a cell and have no problems with caller ID coming through to the cell.
I do not have any other service on this line.
Call forwarding will incur regular long distance ...
