Ok My Fix That Seems to Work
Been down this road a few times now and by trial and error I have a fix that works:
First and foremost DO NOT DL MJUpgrade.exe nor run it, let the MJ upgrade itself when we get to that step.
MJ Should Be plugged in at this step
1. Disable any running MJ apps via task manager
2. Delete Folder app ...

What I Did
I had the exact same issue, fiddled with tech for weeks with no resolve.
Then, deleted the drivers for both MJ USB audio, and my Microphone , restarted PC and
after they reinstalled, fixed like new.

This fixed mine
All you have to do is remove the folder named mjusbsp in c:>documents and settings>[your name]>application data (XP) and C:>Documents and Settings>Users>Application data>Roaming (Vista)
This solution worked for me.

Still no luck
Still cannot get any sound on my MJ when I dial out from this laptop. I know its not a device problem as
I can use it fine from another PC. I tried all the typical fixes to no avail and am now at a loss.

Mine appears OTS as well
Tried all the troubleshooting with tech because I can not get any sound thru headset as soon as I dial out.
This is a new issue and all worked fine previously.
The device is just 2 months old and and "out of 30 day warranty"
