I had MJ fail last night with multi error codes as many did. I used the Tech support and found there was server issues and was told 12-48 Hrs for repairs by a serv-tech that I got bumped up to.

Codes 400-401 and error 3 were a constant no matter what we tried.

Give everyone here some info of your PC, and the ISP you have cable, DSL type modem, etc what speeds you have etc try system info so we know what OS and build if it shows etc,RAm
make sure the updates are current, list any conflicts on the PC if any etc.
make sure to use a Usb ...

The simple answer is no not at this time you can't change the message from what I read. BUT IF you add a regular answering machine that you can have grab the call on the 2nd or 3 ring it could work. MJ default is 4 rings, so beat the rings with a good ole answering ...

So far as i know dailing the area code is a must with magic-jack. In my local area its Required, We have more than one prefix on area codes for same local areas busy busy busy town we r and more towns cities will follow as demands rise.

I also in Charlotte Nc area and have same codes, A non working phone with a dial tone.
Cust-support kicked me up to a tech and she stated there working on the problem, Could be 24-48 hours
