Do you have SP2 installed for XP? If not, you could download & install SP2 which has some USB fixes. Also you may want to schedule a disk error check/repair to clean out any system disk file errors.

I assume your internet connection is still ok. If so, wait a few hours or a day and check back. Error 3 usually means the MJ server is down for your MJ number. Hopefully MJ will fix it soon, so just wait and ... pray :lol:

It's standard practice for hardware makers to submit their drivers to be included in the Windows' built-in driver database. You can safely download any driver update from MS Update service and it will update your PC with the latest driver if it found that the previously installed driver was older.

From where do you get the error? From browser? IE or Firefox or from within magicJack softphone? This error indicates the "Open URL" command association is broken within the OS. You may need to reinstall Windows to repair this error.

Most people are happy with their MJ purchase and had no issue installing the MJ device. The no Caller-ID issue is a known bug but you could fix that with the 100K resistor mod.

Most work places have firewall, proxy server to filter internet traffic so it's likely SIP ports are blocked. I wouldn't recommend trying to go around the firewall/proxy unless you want to get fired :wink:
