Its not at all clear to me if DirectX version 9.0C is actually required. DirectX is required that has been confirmed by HolmanGT but we do not know if MJ has a DirectX version 9.0C specific dependency.

Lymon is correct I have never been able to make this work, so at the moment my MJ is running just fine using the down grade to the previous update, which is also a suggested work-around from Ymax which makes me think they might already be working on this bug.

To get the latest upgrade to work I suspect that the Altiris XPe Add-On (DirectX) needs to be installed. I currently do not have enough memory on my TC [5710 800Mhz 256/256] to confirm my suspicion [requires 512/512] -- I've asked HolmanGT to try this out but so far he has not had the time to do so ...

Ok, I forgot about changing the USB drivers. Took me a while to find that here in the forums. Why did you have to change the USB drivers?

The ALI drivers bluescreen with the newer hardware version of the MJ when plugged in. Using the stock Microsoft drivers fixes that issue.

Ok, I forgot about changing the USB drivers. Took me a while to find that here in the forums. I got a little scared when I saw the BSOD.

Installed the 2910 update and committed changes and now all is working well! Thanks again for the help!

Yes, I can forward the new number to the old one and that does work. But when I call out it still uses the old number id.

Oh, and one last thing: I have a co-worker with a magicJack (that works) who has let me borrow it and his works flawlessly on all 5 of the computers that I mentioned above. (He did do his initial registration on his home computer before he let me borrow it).

I'm getting the same error. I've tried everything I can think of, magicfix, upgrade, format the MJ, etc, etc. I can't get it to work.
