I tried it on my PAP2.

Cfwd No Ans Dest: MJ number
It rings a few times, then I get thrown into the test message guy. This Ymax call was successful, blah blah.

Cfwd No Ans Dest: Google Voice Number
I get thrown straight to google voicemail, no ringing and it ask for my pin.

Maybe if you download some type of sip app, and get your MagicJack Credentials. But you will still need to somehow run the proxy fix.

I would still rather use MJMD5 on my local router. I can control that. When Sipsorcery goes down, you are kinda sol till it comes back up.

It's not really that hard. But it depends on what you want. Are they both wireless and in different area's?

If so, then you would have your ISP router as your main, and need to mess with the dd-wrt router's settings a bit.

There are plenty of guides on the wiki section of the dd-wrt site.

I was having the same problem. The command's were executing before the router was ready, so there needs to be a delay. Try this.

I would say it's hardly crappy. It would serve most people very well. It currently is serving 2 pc's and 1 laptop, 1 NMT, 1 FTA box, 1 other router, my PAP2, and never even hiccups. Crappy? Don't make me laugh.

You speak of recession but still charge $90, lol. Amazing.

Wow, $90! What a steal. Well, for the seller anyway. The buyer would be getting shafted. You could buy a Netgear WNR834Bv2 for like $20-30. It is also N, and not just G/B.

You are asking people to forward to 192.168.1.100, but what is this machines purpose in your setup? Is it your ATA? Is it your router?

For example, my setup.

Router = 192.168.1.1 (where I am running the proxy server)
ATA = 192.168.1.3

I can't seem to get it working on My Fonera 2100 running DD-WRT RC-6 1/2/08 when i try to run mjproxy it says "Syntax error: "(" unexpected" i can get MJMD5 running on my computer just not on the router. Any ideas?

You may've to consider upgrading to latest version of DD-WRT. Being a RC it may've ...

I am thinking it should work just fine on tomato. Can you telnet into the router? If so, give it a shot.

luisito, if your router ip is 192.168.0.1, then that is what you would put into your ATA. Example being 192.168.0.1:5070.

I kinda figured I needed the exact path, but how no idea about the "sleep 30" setting. That got my startup problem fixed up. I will edit my post just incase someone comes along and decides to give it a try. Much appreciated.

That is a pretty old build. You may look into upgrading dd-wrt to a newer build. You are running 10011 vs my 12307 (a pre sp2 build). But did you try doing as it suggested?

Run "ipkg update".

Ok, trying to get running with my DD-WRT router and a PAP2. I got it setup, telneted into my router, and ran "top" to see if it was running. It looks like it is to me. Does this look correct? Ofcourse my actual password is not a bunch of zero's.

I think 0.0.0.0 is just a way of listening for any local ip. Works fine for me.

thanks for the c code, compiled nicely and works great on my WRT54G w/Kamikaze 8.09.

It means if you have flashed your router with dd-wrt firmware, and all is good, then you should have no problems moving over to open-wrt, if need be.

Im still up and running on a pap2. Never did an upgrade. Interesting note, when I dial with a 10 digit dial plan, I get a fast busy signal, but when I dial with an 11 digit dial plan, it goes thru.
Check your dial plan. This one always worked for me, 7, 10, 11, etc... Just change the area code ...

No..... really? Why do you think I was suggesting info be shared via PM(check post 3 of this thread)? Either way, they have a system in place to detect the difference between the softphone/dongle and a ATA. Those who are not down yet, have a pretty high chance of being down soon.

I can confirm the above. Changing "registry expire to 0" on my PAP2, allowed me to successfully register, again.

But all is not well. Incoming calls go straight to voicemail, outgoing gets a fast busy.

Add me to the list of people having problems today. Password has changed atleast 2 times today. If I can't get it fixed, then I will not renew my service, which expires in 2-days.

Right now I am stuck on "Please Wait" using the official client/dongle.

I would like for it to be open, for support of DD-WRT

I will give this solutions a shot.

What about the RTP ports? Should I also open those? I am currently using 16384-16482. Those kinda confuse me, as I am only use to seeing UDP/TCP ports.

I am still getting voicemails in my inbox, and no sign of those calls on my phone (CID). So, the problem still persist. I tried resetting to factory, and using a different IP. No luck.

Firmware version 3.1.22-LS is the latest, which I have been using sense I originally purchased the PAP2-NA.

The expire value I have set at 180, as I think that is what the MagicJack runs at.

No need for QOS, as I am not having trouble with sound quality. Its strange as everything worked fine for ...

I tried changing the proxy and outbound proxy to
66.104.96.198:5070

Still not receiving many incoming calls. Usually takes several tries before the phone rings. (usually get sent straight to voicemail)
