It's been working for yesterday and today.

I think for the most part, increasing the Internet speed involves lots of work and it's hard to downgrade it if it doesn't fix the problem. In other words, it's not easy to try.

For me, I'm on DSL right now, switching to Cable for a faster speed is much more involved and won't be easy to switch it ...

Does anyone has a good suggestion of good alternative to MJ? With this problem going on for weeks and still not fixed, I can't use it.

It seems there are lots of problems with MJ network. Now I can't call my phone. There is no ring, and the VM does not kicks in after 4 rings...

This is major network issue with MJ and I wonder how many people are affected... Maybe not that many people are using it? Otherwise they should be flamed ...

After almost a week, still have the same problem. Tried different computer / USB ports, tried the default audio device setting, it still works randomly. This is such a frustrating issue that I am looking for alternative VoIP services now.

I am having the same problem since several days ago. The mute might even happen in the middle of a conversation. This virtually render the service unusable. I was dial into a conference call and all the sudden I won't hear anything. And when I dial again, I hear nothing after punch in the numbers ...

I tried dukadial, didn't work for me. The line is just silence after the site prompts that target number has been connected.

I then tried the ClickCall from grandcentral and that worked like a charm.

I agree that linux makes more sense for this sort of "server" function that runs 24x7.

I don't even need the UI on linux when it's running fine. A headless way of launching MagicJack would be sufficient.
