To answer the previous post, we both have verizon phones, neither one of us have to dial a 1- then the number to either phone from either phone, but we do have to enter the area code.
My Dad called his local phone provider (TDS) and they fixed the problem, now his brother has to call his phone ...

I bought a magicJack for my Dad and myself. My Dad lives in the Halls area of Knoxville, TN. When setting up his magicJack, he chose the 865-332 prefix and got a 865-332-xxxx number, his home phone is 865-922-xxxx.
