Sorry, I should have been more precise. When calling with the MJ, I hear on the call that I am making that it sounds like it is ringing to the number I am calling. Yet when I got hold of the person later, from my cell phone, they told me their phone never rang.

Calling a Canadian cell phone number
When calling a Canadian cell phone number with my MJ, the MJ rings and rings but the cell phone does not. I recall reading that there is a workaround, but of course, I did not write it down.

Who says they even know right now how much? As you know, Canadian telecommunications are highly regulated. Perhaps they are still trying to figure it out and don't even know themselves what the charge needs to be.
