I got used to it, but it did get annoying when it happened to often (like every 5 minuites)

I'm the opposite. I used to happen once or twice in a LONG conversation, now it happens every 5 minutes.. Hurts my poor little ear drums it does !!! :)

Possibly but, if that is the case, I'm in the WRONG end of the communications industry! I get calls 24/7 ANYTIME there's a problem and, man, there had better be NO downtime otherwise the FCC gets involved...

Did you try a landline # or a cell phone #? See if it works on a landline or 800 #. Then, if it does work on those but not a cell phone (outside of your area code), maybe this thread might be useful: http://www.phoneservicesupport.com/cannot-call-cell-phones-out-of-area-code-t2795.html

Yes, it should be fixed in a day or two. If you contact online support and let them know that you are having this issue, they will put you on the email list for when the issue is resolved.

MJ on my t5720 is extraordinary -- better voice quality than my wired phone line, and probably better than my laptop as my home system has a Hawking Broad Band Booster (which I highly recommend -- it prioritizes VOIP through the QOS service).

I just got everything hooked up and working properly ...

Thin Client MJ Quality Just As Good As Desktop MJ Quality?

I am using my MJ on my laptop via a powered USB hub and have finally gotten the quality good enough to replace my home telephone service. I just bought a TC but can't seem to get MJ to work properly on 256/256 memory (is this possible anymore?). So, before I upgrade the memory, I would like to know ...

Thin Client MJ has dialtone, dials & rings, but disconne

I am trying to set up a thin client I recently purchased. It is 256/256 memory though. I flashed a new image of XPe and removed the unwanted software, as per the instructions in the TC sticky. Now, when I pick up my MJ phone, I hear a dialtone. I can dial a # and the other phone rings, however once ...

I bought a 192/256 TC and upgraded it to 1gb DOM / 512mb RAM and its working flawlessly with the MJ software.

I would recommend this setup (1gb DOM vs 512mb DOM) as it allows for extra "wiggle" room.

Do you think it would still work with a 256/256 setup? BTW, how much did you pay to upgrade to ...

Hi, I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but it's been so hard for me to find the final word on this. I just ordered a thin client with 256/256 memory (a newbie to TCs). Caller ID = caller phone number.
Caller ID with Name = caller phone number and name.

If provider does not advertise Caller ID with Name, all you will get is a number.
Only number comes in with with the call, so to get the caller name and pass it to you, MJ has to lookup it in CNAM database. It ...
