Potentially a MAJOR security hole in latest upgrade!
So, I was perusing my dumpfile learning more about the upgrade. (Lots of clues in there BTW) When I stumbled upon my usernames and passwords a web-based utility I use at WORK and MY ONLINE BANKING information.

The reason why Dan wants to kill the ATAs is the server load IMHO. Not everyone runs MJ 24/7 with the dongle. But people who uses ATA runs it 24/7, which means increasing load on their servers. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Agreed
In running some diags, i noticed a wireshark message with "realm=radius.com" in it somewhere.
My question is why is it only some accts that are affected? Will the be going after all accts soon? Does this process cost them $??
you probably saw "realm=stratus.com", thats been there forever..

Someone mentioned downgrading w/ MJ Suite, got code?
OK, so I have in my hands now an un-tainted MJ to perform some testing. Someone mentioned downgrading via the MJ Suite. (precautionary) Anyone have details and code (update.exe) prior to 6/9?

Ugh, ATA + Voicemail = No worky.
I saw this same answer in a thread here a few weeks ago... But I can't find it, must have been a highjacked thread. Basically, dialing * (or anything for that matter) after dialing 10 digits doesn't work. Any pointers to a solution or thread?
Thanks
Thanks

Mufon,
Thanks for the response... However, I'm a little confused about the "only one needs to register". I'm using my knowledge of Cisco product as a basis for comparison, which is probably incorrect. :-) So, a sip client can use the proxy without auth to the domain\realm? If so, iIs this because ...

Multiple SIP logins...
Silly question. With my ATA up and running, can I use a SIP client on my machine as well? Will this "get me noticed" ? Would it ring both clients? I know how CallManager handles this, how about Asterisk, gimme the gory details???
