Re: TC is the Answer!
t5700 256/256 was $33.99 shipped w/ buy-it-now. $25 for the 1gb flash and less than $25 for the 512mb RAM. I'm going to drop another $50 into it for an expansion module and VGA because I use it for my primary internet appliance now. I don't even fire up my tower any more.

Re: Sporadic Problems with DTMF -- Can't use my Cellphone's
As of today, 5/27/2009, I can't use my Magicjack (purchased two months ago) to access my cellphone's voicemail system, neither using an attached phone, nor with the softphone. I am using a wireless router, but it has worked fine up till now, especially after telling it that my laptop's MAC address ...

Is there some setting in your audio card that steals connections it believes to be rightfully for the audio card, much like Windows Media Player will try to associate all of its file extensions if you don't explicitly tell it not to?

cmankat,
Boy it has been so long since I used my D200 that I don't remember what if anything I had to do to make it work with MJ.

What a week... Magic Jack works great at my house. But where I need it to work, at a high school baseball field, we have had no luck. We were advised we needed to forward two ports on the router to UDP protocol and that made a big difference. We went from 'Network Error' to "Ready to Call' but the ...

Re: annoying DTMF and drop outs
I have 2 magic jacks. One works flawlessly. The other is marginally acceptable. Each Magic Jack is on it's own computer, that does nothing more than host the magic jack.

Re: Bypassing the MJ Voicemail before 4.5 rings
When I make a landline call to my MagicJack number, the MagicJack voicemail seems to cut in at about 4 1/2 rings. I'm seeing that my AT&T digital answering machine has a "Ring Select" feature that allows it to intercept calls at anywhere from 2 thru 7 rings, so it appears that any Ring Select ...
