Yes, the send button on the software phone does work as a flash button for call waiting.

I tried it earlier and didn't get it to work but now have it going fine.

I had to get the phone from my bedroom and hook it into magicjack as it is the only one with a flash button. Called myself with a land line and cell phone and 3-way ...

After you put the first person on hold using the flash button you have to hit ## to go to three way calling.

I've never gotten it to work but that's because I don't have a flash button on my phone and don't see one on the magicjack pop up phone.
