I think the rotating password was just a mistakenly parameter set server side. The real change in the authentication process. Meaning the formula that is used in MJMD5 or other proxies needs to be figured out. No one is working on this currently I hope that this helps you understand.

I know this is a long shot but would anyone have any old saved raw dumps from before passwords rotated then they changed the MD5? If so would you be willing to share them with me I want to look for something.

I use vyprvpn to register all my magicjacks after I flash them with random SN's So it should work no problem...might run into problems on public proxies though. Hope that helps

Well now...that's been that way for years. All the account can and have been harvested before. Magicjack is really bad at security.

You could reflash it with a new SN and reregister it but you will lose your current number...but you could just point the old account to the new one.

Not really a rotating password pasword is the same its just how they pass it that has changed.

I dont think anyone is working on a solution I know Im not. Move on to nettalk...very easy to get sip but not really a need to.

Well we have tools to flash the device . And using the leaked SDK I'm sure that you could use the Google voice stuff they started on and build an ISO to write to the device. I'm 100% sure that this is possible but has about 30-40% sure that someone will attempt it
