Plug your magicJack in and go to http://upgrades.magicjack.com/upgrade/upgrade.exe to run the upgrade.
On the dialogue that appears, click run.

Same issue here.

To solve I changed the original shortcut for MJ to point to the new setup exe in the startup folder.
