Have purchased $5.00 for long distance calls but I'm not able to place a call to Italy ( country code 39 +prefix + number) only get 3 beeps and line drops.Italy is in the long distance rates.
Has anybody tried to call overseas ? and with success?.

The audio thing is a bug in Windows technically and not magicjack. Windows doesn't handle the install of a USB audio device properly, it assumes the new device should be the default. Just go to control panel, sound device and make adjustments on the voice and audio/sound tabs. Search the forums ...

2 troubles I found with mj 1 you need absolutely win-xp with service pack 2 otherwice it will not install,
2 when mj installs it will kill media controls (I cannot play any music, no audio video ok) as soon I unplug mj sound is ok.

u can try that with a one if that doesnt work....make sure u enabled call out when u registered the jack...there was a little check box where you disbale it (it was already checked).....so u shud have left that alone....can ya receive though?
