For what it's worth:

My situation may be unique, but most of the time my inbound CID would not display on my various phones (five mixed Uniden models) whole house setup, but did show correctly on the softphone.

Just an update, today it is as good as it's ever been.
I've been using this MJ since last July and I'm sure it's saved me hundreds in long distance charges along with the savings from deleting my second phone line. I'm still very happy with my purchase.

That must e different for different area codes. I've been successful forwarding calls
to both my cell phone and my home phone by just entering (xxx-xxx-xxxx)

This is more painful that using a 1200 baud dialup connection.
The membership would double overnight if this was hosted by a
faster server.

How would that only affect the local prefixes? All incoming and outgoing calls worked perfectly.
Only the local incoming calls failed. This was after 3 days of working perfectly from any prefix.
