This method has worked for me in the past when Windows gets confused:

1. Go to Device Manager
2. Expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers"
3. Uninstall each of the lines that contain "host controller"
4. close device manager
5. Reboot (or if you want, go to control panel and have it search for ...

HendersonMike,

The file is AddressBook.xml, and is located in the MagicJack directory of the USB drive (not the CD-ROM) drive that is installed as part of MagicJack. The MagicJack directory is hidden, so if you cannot see it, you may need to go into windows explorer, go to the Tools|Folder Options ...

Call me a cynic, but this looks like someone is either spoofing the MagicJack site, or has hacked the magicjack server that serves their adds.

There is no Vista Serviec Pack 2 (I do not think that is a typo), and if they really meant Service Pack 1, it is not in Beta, and has not been for about ...

I will try to help.

First, is your Sansa e280 setup as an MTP device or MSC device. According to the manual I found on the net, you check from the Main Menu | Settings/USB Modes and you can see which is selected. If you have selected MTP, the device is not assigned a drive letter and I would ...

Of course, this time it worked like a champ! Nevermind for now. The next time it happens, I will capture the actual error screen and repost. Sorry for the false alarm.

Problems Posting?

Hi,

I have been trying to post from home for the last three nights, and whenever I hit the "submit" button, I get an error message like "Action not supported" with an error 501 screen, I think. I have been able to post from work. Any one else have issues? I am running XP Home SP2.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried running Magicfix, and it also suggested I needed a fix for autorun. Unfortunately, it had no effect on autoplay.

I am running XP Home SP2. I can live without autoplay, but I got used to having the convenience of the menu popping up.

Can Autoplay be reenabled?

Hi,

Ever since I installed MagicJack, the XP feature "autoplay" has been disabled. I can run a registry fix, and it will work until the next time MagicJack is plugged in. Anyone have any luck fixing this?
