Hi slceso,
Glad to hear you are giving it another go! Sorry it is being such a pain!
A couple of things to try here...
Compaq/HP also offered this model in the Evo T20. They have a 192Mb image which may be the *.bin format. I'm really not sure what this *.i2d file format consists of, but reading ...

Re: How to reinstall or hack the passwords on a WYSE WT9235L
Hi,
I just bought two wyse thin clients from ebay. One of them logs on to a user with limited resources and the other one comes up with the user id and password pop up.
Is there any way to hack or reinstall the XPe ?
If so please advise how to do it. I am very new to this and would appreciate ...

misdirected customer support calls - very strange
Has anyone else been receiving calls on their MJ intended for MJ customer support?
Over the last several months I've received about 5 calls like this on my MJ phone. Speaking with the caller, I find that my number is not even closely related to the number they are calling. Nor is there any ...

Re: XPe question
I acquired a used (non HP model) thin client that is Administrator password protected, and I don't know how to get into it. It is running XPe. I have tried various methods such as safe mode (admin has this locked out), Windows password unlocking programs (again, Admin access needed), and I can not ...

Re: VC
Did anyone ever get a solution to the "No Busy Signal" question? I never have had a busy signal from any number I have ever called with my MJ. I first found this out by accident when I called the same number right back with my cell phone. After that I found out that if my phone doesn't ring when I ...

MagicJack is a sloppy drive space pig!
Lucky me, I got upgraded, or rather an attempt was made at an upgrade. :-(
This resulted in my thin client running out of cache space and drive space. So I figured I'd let it do its upgrade by plugging the MJ into a desktop with a lot more resources. Things went smoothly and I thought all was well ...

Re: Is it just the HP's that work?
This thread has clearly settled on a bias for HP T57xx TC's. Is this because they are the only ones that work or is it because it is the platform most plentiful that was first figured out?
I ask being very cheap.... I see some other TC's on ebay that come cheaper, so just wondering....

Re: Minimum system requirements
Yes, I'm using only a cheap thin client, Wyse WT9235LE, with an added 128MB module to up the total memory to 384MB. I haven't tested to see if the additional memory is necessary, but I had it available, so why not...

Re: Minimum system requirements
I'm running magicjack on a Wyse WT9235LE thin client. This machine is about as minimal as you can get.
It has a 300MHz AMD Geode processor, 256M flash (no hard drive), 384M RAM (upgraded from 256M), 4 USB (1.1) ports, 100Base-T, audio in/out, and vga out. It runs WinXP embedded (sp1?) and draws ...

Re: Minimum system requirements
What is the minimum system requirements needed to get good results?
What is the minimum amount of RAM, CPU speed etc.
Anybody know? I am thinking of getting one for my mom who has an old computer used just for web surfing and emails.
It's a PIII 8666 with 256 Megs of RAM.
