hello,
when I try and call my number I get the number not in service message
I can call out from my MJ with no problems just no one can call in, I have a washington state number and live just across the border in canada, was chatting with MJ for close to an hour last night and they can't seem to figure it out, they said they checked and the number is active, any one else with this issue??

Tim : what exceptions tab? I am not using windows firewall I use ESET
Renard: please go to your control panel and please click security center and then windows firewall
Tim : there is still no exceptions tab

Tim: I have and it is over written by ESET I have no access to and windows firewall options

Tim your Control Panel is in Category View, double-click Sounds, Speech and Audio Devices
Myrene: If not, go directly to the step 4
Myrene: 4. Double Click on Sounds and Audio Devices
Tim : ok
Myrene: 5. Click the Audio tab (the middle one)
Myrene: 6. Under both Sound Playback and Sound Recording, select your default audio device (the one you want to use) from the drop down menu
Myrene: * Never select Tigerjet as your default device

Myrene: 7. Click the box labeled Use Only Default Device" (located in the bottom left corner of the window)

Update
as of 5:00pm today the problem is resolved, I do not know weather MJ tech dept did something or it just took a few extra days to have the number registered to me even though they said it was pretty much immediate??? seems to work well now both incoming and outgoing

That is all to common, talk to magicjack chat and no answer. Then a little while later the problem is corrected.

I am sure they have to hand off Chats that they can't resolve to a higher level group, that fixes the problem and never notifies you "THE CUSTOMER". They just can't seem to get it thru their heads that you are the most important person in their world.

I am also glad you got it resolved, I don't know if their has been a spike in Valium consumption since the advent of "MagicJack Chat" but I am will to take bets that their has been. You being a seasoned Tech Chat chatee I am sure you know what I mean.
