What is the proper procedure to transfer service and paid up time onto new (from the promo) MJ+?
I just looked and the official MJ site at their FAQ and it still says it's not possible.
I only get 1 shot at doing this correctly, please post what to do, how to do it.
Would make a good sticky post - thanks |

1. Plug in the MJ plus device
2. You need to select where you bought your MJ Plus
3. Click on "Or login to existing magicjack account" found at the top right corner of the page.
4. You need to use your current email and password.
5. You will see 2 options, you will need to select the 2nd one.
a) Register as a new device"
b) "Replace a current magicJack (your subscription and remaining year/years will be transferred to your new device, and your old magicJack will be expired)"
6. Select your old phone number
7. Agree to the TOS and the next following pages will present you with the usual upsells (add years/IPP/Insurance).
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Once service is transferred to new MJ PLUS, the standard MJ will be deactivated, and will be rendered useless, cannot be used anymore |

Thanks for the info. There was 1 additional page I had. I've inserted it below.
