Don't throw away your MJ dongle. You can get some money back out of it.

Please reuse it yourself or sell it on Ebay to somebody else to use for Google Voice.

Wow, that's pretty wild. Sorry to hear, OP.

So I assume they have these "don't use the phone '(20) times more than the average magicJack's customer's usage'" rules in the pamphlet that comes with the MJ when you first buy it?

...and what is the average usage they are talking about?
That must also change with time, so where are current, updated numbers published?

(of course nothing is published, one of Dan's famous tricks to dump customers after they have bought the MJ / MJ+ and paid for ph. number/s and 5 years "membership" in advance = RIP OFF).

I too have noticed that they recently SCREWED UP the call logs. For customers that have more than one MJ device and/or app, MANY logs were *totally* screwed up - MJ staff apparently inaccurately posted calls that were actually made/received on one device to the log of one or more other devices assigned to the same MJ customer account.

As apparently the decision to cancel an account is based on these logs, such errors on MJ's part can have pretty significant consequences for customers/victims.

I just checked my call logs. They don't have all the outgoing calls and none of the incoming.

It's not possibl, the magicJack device has been suspended due to violation!

Certainly the service has been suspended, but how could they have disabled the device? If the device is used to contact Google how is MJ to know?
Just asking.

That's right. As long as the MJ dongle hardware itself is not damaged, it will work fine with the GVJack App and Google Voice.

If you don't believe it, just download and try it out for a few days.
