I have a MagicJack Plus connected to the router. It works fine most of the time, but occasionally I cannot hear the caller. They can hear me, and when I call them back it works fine. Any fixes? Thanks. |

That happens sometimes with any VOIP. It shouldn't be happening every day but from time to time it will happen. |

Thanks for the quick reply. Even though it is a pain when it happens, it is still worth saving hundreds of dollars a year on the phone bill. |

hi have u tried to port foreword port 5060 and 5070 my be that why it not working all the time try to do that and see if it helps u can find all the info on that in this form and threw your routers web site
one other thing try a different Ethernet cable and don't directly plug the mjp in the power adapter use the usb extender cable as that will help keep it cooler hope this help get your mjp working better |

I don't think that extention cable of ethernet would help more to resist against heat and keep it cooler try to plug it tughtly that it is not loose enough.
