I've been using MJ with a PAP2 for a few weeks now. it works fine. one strange issue i have though is that i would be having a conversation with somebody and all of a sudden i would hear a "beep" or a "bleep" sound (like someone pressed one of the numbers on the keypad). i know i didn't press anything, and i've asked the party on the other end if they pressed anything accidentally, and they haven't either. this happens with not just one caller, but all callers, so i don't think anyone is pressing anything.
anyone else notice such behavior during a call? it's very annoying. |

Did any of the advice in this thread or this thread or this thread help? I especially like the last one because the solution involved reducing the talk path gain. |

did i miss something? i'm using an ATA. so how can i give similar treatment to the things described in the above threads (for softphones)? |
