anyone have a simple guide to follow to unlock
a Linksys PAP2 v1 Firmware 3.1.7 on one and 3.1.9 on the
other.. ? I've tried a couple of them
but can't seem to get it to work.
any help would be greatly appreciated.. |

The MJ forum is really not the best place to ask for this information. If you Search for "unlock pap2" you will only turn up 16 threads, which will take a very short time to read through and learn the sum total of the knowlege here.
When you are finished doing that (or even before, since I doubt the information here will satisfy you), I recommend putting that same search term into Google and follow the most probable links from there. |

Go to dslreports forum and look for member DogFace05. He is the one who can help you with this task. He does charge but will flash your PAP2 V1 devices to the PAP2 NA version that is unlocked and fully usable without the danger of them being re-locked. The price, IMHO, is well worth the amount of work you will have to go through to un-lock yourself, which still carries the danger of re-setting and re-locking the device later. Hope this is what your looking for. |
