Is this is a regular magicJack?

If it is, please try the following:

IF VISTA OS
1. Please go to the Control Panel.
2. Is your Control Panel on Classic View or Control Panel home?
3. Click "Hardware and Sound".
4. Please click on "Manage Audio Devices"
5. Then please click on "Handset" and then "properties" and then select the "levels" tab and turn up the volume.
6. Please make sure that the MUTE is not checked
7. Volume was on 32 , turn it up to 68.

IF XP OS
Please go to Control Panel.
In there, please click Sounds and Audio Devices.
Under Audio tab, please do not select Tigerjet as your default device for both dropdown menus.
After that, please click the two first Volumes and slide all the bars all the way to the top, make sure nothing is muted.

IF MAC OS
1. Click on the apple sign/emblem/logo at the top-left portion of your desktop.
2. Click on System Preferences.
3. Under Hardware click on Sound.
4. Go to the Output tab. Make sure "Tigerjet" is not chosen. Make sure the "Mute" box is not checked. Also, adjust the volume to 1/3 of max.
5. Go to the Input tab. Make sure "Tigerjet" is not chosen. Make sure the "Mute" box is not checked. Also, adjust the volume to 1/3 of max.
