I am running Windows 7. I have been using magicjack on this setup for about 3 months, with no problems. When i got the upgrade, magicjack has not worked since.
I stayed on the phone with tech support several hours. They finally decided it was a faulty magicjack and sent me a new one for 10.00. I have the same problem.
When i plug in magicjack, it goes through the loading process and gets to the display that say " starting magic, please wait" with a green line that goes 3/4 of the way across, and that`s as far as it ever gets. When this happens, I can`t access the internet nor can I go to Task Manager and end the magicjack.exe process. I have to unplugg magicjack and restart my system to be able to go online.
I have tried magicjack on a Windows XP setup and everything seems to work fine except when calling in to magicjack, everyone get a recording, that says that you have reached a number that is not working. I can call out but no call ins.
Guys, I would really like to use this on my PC, the Windows 7. Tech support was o help at all. All firewalls have been disabled as wll as virus software and still the same problems. You Guys are my last hope, before going back to a regular landline. any help will be very much appreciated. Skeeterhawk

You "spoke on the phone with tech support for several hours" ??? Well that's a first for me... wich number did you call ?!?!?

As far as your MJ problem goes I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate and I never experienced nothing close to what you describe. That's really weird.
