After looking inside, I see that the t5730 had a removable Slot1 AMD Sempron 2100+ mobile processor, although the power supply is only 50W. The MB still has the required CPU voltage of 5V to run a faster CPU. I wonder could the CPU be upgraded to a say something like a Sempron 3500+CPU. I know it will fit but is the bios fixed at 1GHz.
Had anyone tried this?

Arrruuuu? Semperon processors start at 1.6 volts and go down from there ending up around 1.25 volts I believe. What does the BIOS say for voltages and is CPU/memory/bus timings automatic, jumpered or BIOS controlled? Used Semperons are cheap enough to buy one and experiment, but what are you wanting this TC to do that the 2100+ won't handle?
