I'm looking for a USB adapter that turns the USB imput around the other way? Makes any sense ?

Dont want to use the USB cable that came with the device.

Thanks

Sorry, I can't visualize what you want to achieve. I'm not sure if you don't like the short extension--so a standard 3' or longer extension probably won't serve your purpose any better. As you can plug the MJ dongle directly into a USB port, there doesn't seem to be any advantage to turning both the MJ and PC USB ports "the other way around" as you'll achieve the same connection but with added hardware. Maybe you can describe what obstacle you want to overcome? Do you have a non standard PC, maybe a tight spot and you want the MJ dongle on top of your desk instead of at the back of the desktop sitting on the floor?

I have a tight spot, thats what the word I was looking for before Smile LOL
If I'm able to turn the MJ around, it would fit perfectly without using the USB cable that came with it.

I think you'll have to settle for an extension cable. Either theirs or someone elses.

Ah, OK. Yes, you might find a USB extension cable gives you more flexibility and you might even want to put the dongle somewhere where everyone can admire the blue light and ask you what it is. "Well, I'm glad you asked......". A great party conversation starter. Very Happy

Why wont you just consider a powered USB HUB and that way it can go on top of your desk for use with other USB toys, like cell phone chargers, or camera downloads?? Cool

Yeah, but I find that to messy Smile, the MJ is on my laptop, and nothing is connected except MJ unless it need it.

Wanna keep the laptop area clean from stuff. Smile

Have you considered going dongle-less, then?

The ultimate in keeping your area clean.

OK, you're after a minimalist look then. At minimum you have AC power to your laptop then and I'm going to guess you are connected to the Internet wirelessly to eliminate the Ethernet cable? Check out the Thin Client option. You can put the thin client out of sight and for best performance, have it hard wired to your router. I've run a thin client with a wifi adapter too, for a web cam, but it should also work with MJ.
