Hi all
Just got this router and trying to set it up with my Motorola 2210 DSL modem. From what I have tried to do is change the IP address for the router from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 to have router access modem. No good! So, if any one can provided some input, it would be apprieciated.
Thanks
PS. DSL modem is AT&T. AT&T and Linksys wants to charge to setup router. Just got router off Ebay for little of nothing. |

Saw your post. I hate Linksys routers. I have 2 total bricks now and one of them is the Number you listed. I couldn't get it to work with Magic Jack for nothing. Then the new replacement stopped working after one new firmware install that went fine. 3 days later, nothing. I finally gave up, went out and bought a single small box *one computer jack in back* Action Tec router at Best Buy. It has a one button auto setup function, and it's light years ahead of Linksys. Easiest thing to set up and manipulate to use Magic Jack too. *you enable OUTGOING for Yahoo Messenger on the list in security and calls go and come just fine. Action-Tec was 49.00$ Action-Tec has my business now. |

Try using a linksys 10/100 Switch or Hub that worked for me. Problem is apparently the hardware only connects to older networking equipment, it wouldn't even show a 10/100 connection to my Rosewill Gigabit Switch. Let alone getting the mac address was a pain in the proverbial @$$. |
