I am about to send MagicJacks to family members living in Australia.
Will they be able to plug their Australian corded phone into the MagicJack or will I have to send them a cheap North American corded phone?
In other words, will their phones be electronically compatible and will the dial tone frequencies be identical to those we use in North America?
Same question may apply to other countries around the world. Has anyone else had experience with plugging in 'foreign' phone sets?
Thanks |

Finally...something about the MJ that works as advertised. I find myself using my jack less and less. Either people can't hear me, or I can't hear them. The call quality seems to be getting worse than better. |

Hi!
I am using mJ in AR and no problems with new and old phones.
Used handsfree telephone headset with wi-fi notebook too.
I called mJ to mJ.
Used mJ in AR to call USA many times.
Called with mj in Ar to AR landlines using international credits.
Couldnt call mJ to AR mobiles using international credits yet. |
