Stealth Web Browsing

Post by Darkman90808 »

Is there a way to surf the net without your boss, wife, girl friend, or cat from knowing which sites you visited AND without installing any software on your computer? The Anonymizer will keep other sites from seeing you, but how 'bout the other way around? I'm thinking specifically of maybe IE6 or some other browser on a thumb drive that would keep all your information off the main system.

If you want to go fully stealth, just download a copy of Portable Firefox and run it off your thumb drive or from a secret location on your computer. Another option would be to create a ram drive and set your temporary internet files, cookies, etc to be stored there. After a reboot they would be gone.

I think the Portable Fox on the thumb drive looks like the way to go. I don't think it's a big deal actually, but I've been trying for some time to go more virtual, with storage and programs. Probably one of the reasons I'm so enamored with my MJ. Thanks!
