i keep getting a warning message

my mj was working fine until 3 days ago. now i get a message
saying "Warning you must plug magic jack into usb" but it is plugged in and it is
lit and everything. I chatted with tech support for several hours and i did everything
they told me to do but nothing worked.
can someone help me?

HendersonMike... I have the same issue. Windows XP Home Edition. Verizon FIOS. MJ post 3/8/2008 version. Please advise.

I have an HP computer and all of my problems went away when I plugged the MJ into a powered USB hub...
