CALLS FROM ACTIVE TO PENDING CODES OK?

If my area code is active and I plug in a Magicjack, can I make calls to pending area code locations?
On the other hand, if my own area code is pending, can I make calls to an active area code location?

You can make calls to any area code within the USA and Canada.

Active and pending area codes have nothing at all to do with making calls.

MJ can't assign a number to a pending MJ area code. You couldn't possibly make a call from one because you can't have an MJ assigned number in one.

If you plug in an MJ and see your assigned phone number, it is in an active area code.

You can call any existing area code regardless of whether or not MJ has it active, pending, or anything else.

You cannot have an MJ number in a pending area code period! GC will forward to the existing number that you set it to.

Forget GC for now. Read other posts about it.
