Static noise ...

Hi group!

MJ Running wirh pap .... when I pick up the phone I hear a static noise .... but the other side is crystal clear .... only my side have the static noise .... I have tryed oher cordless phone same thing .....

Any idea?

Have you tried this?

turn of your modem and router (if you are using one) for 3 minutes. Then turn them back on again. Now unplug your magicJack and plug back in. After it starts up again, try to make a phone call.

Note: If you are using the optional USB cord, please try without it.

Also try a different phone cable........sounds like something in your configuration/computer is causing this issue

Sounds like an ATA problem not MJ. Does running the MJ do the same thing?
