No Dial Tone, No Voice

OK,

So I installed my Magic Jack.

In the options when it tells you to "Choose your device" I cannot select telephone.

I can use my cordless phone to dial the number, but I cannot hear anything or speak through it. I only hear people through my computer.

Whats up with this?

Also its a Uniden cordless phone.

On your softphone can you click the other buttons such as yahoo, weather, etc.?

There was another user on the board that had some issues using their softphone and getting various buttons to work. The issue was a setup in their Internet Exp config and in the advanced section, the 'add-ons' was disabled.

You may have something in your config that is preventing you to select various options on your softphone.

Yes I am able to click on the yahoo, and google buttons.
