how to block a magicjack device from making calls
i did gave my friend a magicjack to used for a month i can't get hold of him i don't want him to use it any more . is there anyway to stop the inboud and outboud calls .i do have the user name and password . thanks

Inbound is easy since you can just forward it as mentioned. Outbound would be a difference matter. Do the forwarding and if people try to call, answer and say you are his life partner Ricardo and he is busy at the moment. Do that enough and he may just send it back to you

- Have you tried calling or chatting w/ MJ tell them that it has been stolen and you want the service canceled.

Go to my.magicjack.com and login
scroll down to account voicemail email
click add email
add your new email and password
now add account and voicemail to new email
delete old email and youre done
you can now log into your mj members area with the new email/password... the old password will not work
I think but not sure that the email and password are stored in the usb device itself and does a check when starting the service
That might disable it
Since you don t have the device anymore try to call to see if you get any answer
also you can check your email for messages from people trying to contact the thief
