Checking network access to the magicJack servers ...

Hi,

My MJ was working pretty well and I was on call.. suddenly windows popped up a message wininet has performed.. it has to close now...

I pressed ok.. and I lost the voice from the other party... however they were still able to hear me...

and then tried running a magic fix... all the steps were successful except the last one which is

Checking network access to the magicJack servers ...

This just goes on for ever...

Please help in this regard... I appreciate your time and efforts.

During magicfix, the last step where it goes and checks the MJ servers......just ignore that one because it's a bug in thier program. If you pass all the other steps, just close out that window. It has always done the same thing whenever I have run MagicFix.

Oh thanks!

Any help regarding the audio. I am not able to hear the other party's audio however they are able to hear mine...

Have you tried another phone? Some phones don't work well with MJ. Also their latest upgrade has been known to fix some of these issues as well.
