Help with T5710

Post by Bubbles »

I have a HP T5710 that MJ dies in a few seconds to 15 minutes after loading. If I try to reload MJ after it dies, I get the error "Warning:You must plug magicJack into USB. I've gone through the steps to solve the no audio device problem so I'm using the latest software. I upgraded to 512K ram and 1gb flash. I also disabled the save power feature on the USB root hubs. It's acting as though it's a USB issue even though the blue light is on. Has anyone else had this same problem?

Try a powered usb hub. I think that the thinclient usb ports are marginal when it comes to supplying all the power that the MJ requires. JMO though :D

Thanks. I went to Best Buy and got a powered USB hub. It lasted a little longer but MJ still eventually died. :(
